Working in Watercolour for many years, Jan has perfected a technique that enables her to achieve vivid and highly coloured works in this medium.

Her subject matter is ever evolving but often the common theme is flowers or elements from the natural environment.

Painting professionally for more than 20 years, Jan held her first solo exhibition in 2006 at Royal Queensland Art Society, Brisbane.

Jan has participated in the Hamilton Island Art Gallery's Artist in Residence program in the Whitsundays for many years, where her exhibitions and classes have been very successful.

Her works are held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
